Loved The Birds, Hostel,the Abyss, Last House on the Left and the Shining. Random Fact: Hot water will turn into ice, faster than cold water would in some conditions. First time I've ever heard of The Abyss referred to as a horror film. Isn't the Last House on the Left one taken from another one of their videos, like word for word. The actors is actually tormented and scared as the producer likes to make it as real as possible. Some actors wont even talk about it as it caused them so much pain. 5. The last house on the left. One of the actors got tourture mentally and was abused. Some of the other actors actually threatened her. Ignore my spelling please 💕💕.

I feel like last house on the left is particularly bad because of the assault scene too. So having that on camera as well as the real life stuff would send me over too. I remember being mentally scarred by THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT when I saw it in my late teens - for a time, it was on the short list of movies that I would only watch to remind myself of why it should be the LAST movie I should be watching. As time went by, I learned and understood why the movie was made the way it was - largely due to the context of the times, especially to shock audiences who had been desensitized by television footage of Vietnam and the account of the My Lai Massacre - and have far more admiration and respect for it as the genre monument that it really is, although hearing about what Sandra Peabody really went through makes it even more disturbing to watch. Honestly, if the people at Our VOICE were to actually shoot re-enactments of domestic brutality and sexual assault for advertisements to alert the public about the need to report rape and violence of victims, I doubt that even THEY would resort to the same techniques for the sake of realism! Then again, what James Cameron put his cast through in THE ABYSS and Alfred Hitchcock with Tippi Hedren in THE BIRDS is undeniably more sadistic than mere vocal threats to get a scene right. Seriously, why is it that the majority of filmmakers who are more mainstream and non-horror far more sadistic than horror filmmakers? I've actually read and heard - and have had official confirmation - that horror filmmakers are among the world's nicest people, many at least who don't have the same cynicism, egotism and ruthless life-threatening behavior as people who choose not to do horror films. For that matter, why can't non-horror filmmakers follow horror filmmakers' examples.
